Course: "Optimizing Entities for Institutional Digital Repositories"
On Tuesday, December 19, 2023, a training course was conducted at the center. The course "Optimizing Entities for Institutional Digital Repositories" was presented by Eng. Masoud Al-Sharif, Director of Knowledgeware Technologies. The course was attended by several employees from the center as well as employees from other organizations.
A Poetry Night in celebration of the Arabic Language Day
King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud Biography Documentation Center hosted a poetry night in celebration of the World Arabic Language Day on December 18, 2023. The event was moderated by Dr. Dukhana bint Ali Al-Amari from Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University. Notable participants included Prof. Al-Jawhara bint Bakhit Al-Jahjah from Imam Muhammad bin Saud Islamic University, Dr. Suad bint Sharaf Abu Shall from Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University, and Mr. Hamad bin Muhammad Al-Ammar from the Royal Commission in Jubail. The evening focused on themes such as excerpts from poetry, poetic reflections, and literary thoughts. The center also extended invitations to individuals interested in participating and benefiting from the event.
H.E. Dr. Khalid Al-Aiban’s Visit
Dr. Abdul Hamid Al-Sulaiman, Secretary-General of King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud Biography Documentation Center, cordially welcomed Dr. Khalid bin Muhammad Al-Aiban, Chairman of the Board of Directors of King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz International Foundation for humanitarian work, and several council members during their visit to the Center on Wednesday, December 20, 2023. They took a tour to gain insights into the operations and functions of various departments. This meeting was attended by all the Center's leaders.
Virtual Meeting: National Values in Saudi Poetry
In the presence of HRH Princess Adelah bint Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Chairperson of the Board of Directors of King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Biography Documentation Center, the center held on Tuesday, October 10, 2023, a meeting entitled "National Values in Saudi Poetry" with the participation of Prof. Dr. Ahmed bin Abdullah Al-Salem (Saudi poet, writer and academic), Prof. Ali bin Muhammad Al-Hamoud (Saudi researcher, writer and academic), and the meeting was moderated by Mr. Ahmed bin Khalaf Al-Shammari, and the meeting had several topics, most notably are: documenting the Saudi kings biography in Saudi poetry and their achievements, and promoting Saudi cultural identity and civilizational values in poetic discourse, and the meeting was attended by individuals and researchers.

HRH Princess Adelah bint Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, chairperson of the board of directors of the center, received Her Highness Princess Noura bint Mohammed bin Saud bin Abdulrahman Al Saud, wife of His Highness the Governor of Riyadh Region, during her visit to the center's pavilion at the Riyadh International Book Fair on Wednesday, October 4, 2023, and they toured the pavilion and reviewed the center's exhibits.

HRH Prince Mitaab bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz International Foundation for humanitarian work, visited the pavilion of King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud Biography Documentation Center at the Riyadh International Book Fair, on Sunday, October 1, 2023, and toured the pavilion and reviewed the center's exhibits.

In order to achieve the objectives of King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud Biography Documentation Center in contributing and participating in national events related to the Center's activity and informing the public about the products and services provided by the center to its beneficiaries, the center participated in the Riyadh International Book Fair from September 28, 2023 AD to October 7, 2023 AD, and the center's pavilion received a great turnout by a number of their highnesses, excellencies and a number of visitors admired the products.
The Center's pavilion at the Medinah Book Fair 2023
King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud Biography Documentation Center participated in the Medinah Book Fair from 18 to 27 May 2023, in order to achieve the objectives of the center in contributing and participating in national events related to the center's activity and informing the public about the provided products and services. The center's pavilion received a great turnout and interaction by visitors with the products that were displayed documenting the biography of King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
H.E. Dr. Ziad Aldrees Visit
H.E. Dr. Ziad bin Abdullah Al-Drees, former Permanent Representative of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to UNESCO, visited King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud Biography Documentation Center in Riyadh on Sunday, May 14, 2023, and toured the center, listening to the departments’ tasks and activities, in the presence of H.E. Dr. Abdul Hamid bin Muhammad Al-Sulaiman, the Secretary-General of the center, and a number of employees.
A Visit to Qatar's Al-Sharq Newspaper (Sunday, May 28, 2023)
His Excellency Dr. Abdulhamid Al-Sulaiman, the Secretary-General of King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud Biography Documentation Center, visited the Qatari newspaper Al-Sharq and was received by the Editor-in-Chief, Mr. Jaber bin Salem Al-Harami, to discuss bilateral relations and ways to enhance and develop them.
