King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud Biography Documentation Center was established as part of King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud International Foundation for Humanitarian Work, in recognition of the importance of highlighting the biography of the custodian of the two holy mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and in order to keep his legacy values alive and to show his main concerns at the local, regional and international levels. In addition to the responsibility to monitor the country’s history and revive its heritage by documenting the biographies of its symbols and leaders, to be an essential source of information, and a specialized center for studies and research about the biography of King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud - may Allah rest his soul.

Achieving this vision requires a great effort and continuous work based on the requirements of scientific research in accordance with the scientific and methodological standards and rules to achieve the mapped out goals. The Center recognized the importance of contributing on documenting an important period in the nation's reconstruction, as a witness to the comprehensive renaissance in our precious country during the reign of King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and to document the biography of this great leader, to be a living example for future generations. The Center also performs its mission out of the love of the country and the appreciation of its symbols who devoted their lives for its unity and development, starting with the founder King Abdulaziz and then his dutiful sons, kings of Saudi Arabia, who followed his path and maintained his achievements and completed the process of construction and development after him.

I am grateful to Allah for facilitating the founding of this center, which expresses our family’s love and loyalty to our father- may Allah rest his soul, and all thanks and gratitude to my brothers the Royal Highnesses members of the Board of Trustees of King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz International Foundation for Humanitarian Work, notably HRH Prince Khalid bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, for his great support in establishing the center, and my brother HRH Prince Mitaab bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud International Foundation for Humanitarian Work, for his guidance and support for the center and its activities. Moreover, I extend my thanks to my sisters the Royal Highnesses the princesses for their care and unwavering support for the center by all capabilities and means.
